We are pleased to announce the addition of two experienced attorneys to the Kohn Law Firm staff, Jennifer L. Anderson and Nicholas A. Smith.  Jennifer has joined the Litigation Group and Nicholas has joined the Post Judgment Group.

Jennifer joined the Litigation Group in November 2015.  She concentrates her practice on litigation involving student loans and subrogation and other tort related matters.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1999.   Prior to attending law school, Jennifer obtained a degree in Criminal Justice and Communication from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  Before joining the Kohn Law Firm, she was in private practice handling debt collection and subrogation.  In addition to being licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin, Jennifer is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. When Jennifer is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and attending her son’s baseball games.

Nicholas joined the Post Judgment Group in December 2015.  He concentrates his practice on post-judgment collection matters.  Nicholas graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2008.  Before attending law school, Nicholas attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Science-Business.  He was a member of the Whitewater Warhawk basketball team for 4 years. Prior to joining the firm, he was practicing debt collection law and comes to the firm with significant experience in both litigation and post-judgment collections.  Nicholas is licensed to practice in both Wisconsin and Illinois and he is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, in the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Northern District of Illinois.  When he is not practicing law, Nicholas enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family.

Jennifer and Nicholas are very important additions to the Kohn Law Firm and they are already making an impact as a result of their experience in the industry.  We are very excited to have them as part of our team.
