2014 has been a busy year at the Kohn Law Firm and a year where there have been some changes involving the attorney staff.  We are pleased to announce the recent promotions of two associate attorneys -- Meghan MacKelly and Kevin White -- to non-equity partners at the firm.  Meghan MacKelly’s career started with the firm in 2002 where she began as an associate attorney.  She currently is the Supervising Attorney of the Post-Judgment Litigation Group.  She has a substantial amount of knowledge in both pre-suit and post-suit litigation and she has handled everything from consumer cases to tort, municipal and subrogation matters.

Kevin White started at the firm in 2005.  He originally worked as a collector where he focused on commercial claims.  He eventually left the firm to attend law school, but he came back in 2008.  Since returning, Kevin has handled a varied workload which has included consumer, commercial, municipal tax, and subrogation matters.  We sincerely value the years of service and contributions to the firm by Meghan and Kevin.

The firm has also had two recent additions to its attorney staff.  Zachary Gnas started in June as an associate attorney in the Litigation Group.  Zachary was a former paralegal with the firm who rejoined the firm after attending the University of Wisconsin Law School. Zachary is currently handling consumer debt litigation.  Kaitlyn DeVries begins her career this week at the firm and will join our Post-Judgment Litigation Group as an associate attorney.  She is a recent graduate of Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee.  She will be focused on the litigation involved in recovering outstanding judgments.

Kaitlyn will be replacing an associate attorney, Alexandria McCool, who is moving to North Carolina and will reside with her husband, Joe.  Alexandria’s husband is a member of the United States Army and stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  Since joining the firm, Alexandria has done an excellent job assisting the firm with appellate work and has also made meaningful contributions as a member of the Post-Judgment Litigation Group.  The firm wishes Alexandria and Joe the best as she embarks on the move to North Carolina.
