Attorney Gougeon is part of the Illinois team, concentrating her practice in both consumer litigation and post-judgment collection matters. She enjoys her involvement in the Illinois Bar Association and with the Illinois Creditors Bar Association. Attorney Gougeon attended Grand Valley State University where she earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management and Marketing, as well as a minor in French. She then obtained her law degree and legal masters from Washington University School of Law in 2018. During law school, she explored international alternative dispute resolution, traveling to South Africa, South Korea, and Australia to work in legal aid and arbitral institutions. Prior to joining Kohn Law Firm, Attorney Gougeon worked in franchise law, focusing on commercial transactions.
